Hi.  Wow, there must be more than one version of the 1 GB model of 
the Zen stone, because I just tried what was suggested, and the bar 
is actually more of a slide switch. It doesn't actually push inwards, 
rather it can be moved over to one position for shuffle play, the 
other position for regular, and if you move it to the left, it will 
switch folders, this is of course assuming you've put more than one 
folder of music or audio on it.
and when you move the bar to the left to change folders, the switch 
doesn't move into another position, it moves and then when you let it 
go it moves back where it was, the best way i can describe it is it 
sort of  springs to the other position and when you let go of the bar 
it moves back in place. I'm probably not  doing it justice.  But I 
most definitely have the 1 GB model, no question about it and mine 
most definitely does not have an fm radio on it.  Maybe some other 
moddels of the 1 GB storage version have been produced including a 
radio, but mine does not have that.
