hi. Ok, maybe my ears have just never been trained to hear these sounds. I can definitely tell if an mp3 has a lot of artifacts, like for example if a badly encoded mp3 has artifacts you'll hear a sort of swishy sound, that's the best way to describe it, especially with higher frequency stuff like symbal crashes and stuff like that. But being able to tell something in the 60 to 120 hertz range? I couldn't tell you something like that if my life depended on it. All I know is what sounds good to me, and what doesn't, but my ears aren't trained enough to give you specifics such as that.
