You guys are out of my league, as I wouldn't even have a clue as to what to do with a soundprint! Too bad, really, that this proves my point. I was saying that I could not perform anything but rudimentary tasks, in Soundforge; you have completely overlooked that part of my point of view, gone right over it and said, in effect, "Anyone can do this even if they can't do it!" No logic there, is there? Where does that get you? Yes I agree with that, in most cases its extremely easy because all one need do is to capture a sound print and work from there hardly any additional adjustment is required.
