I need some accessible dj software. I am playing music at local events and I want to be able to pick music from a large directory and cross fade it in. what is a cheap but accessible way to do this? I also want to know how you would rip your library? Would you rip the files As one super large directory of songs displaying the track names? Or would you rip them as albums with the track number artist and song title showing? Most of me just wants a large directory of songs so that I can search by song title. then I would like to be able to put the song through a piece of software so that it would be in the play order. I have found a usb to serial cable that will run my dectalk express but I would like to know how to set up eliquence so that it will run on an alternative sound card. I would like to by a usb sound card to send the music through and have jaws speaking through the on board sound card. If you feel like you are a professional at this I would gladly spend money for some training on this subject. Other wise I will buy the numark mixer that has Mp3 capability. I have a standard cd mixer now. Thanks lots in advance guys.
