Hi Don. I just got home yesterday, so didn't see your message until now.
I use OTS DJ for my broadcast on ACBRI. It does a nice job of cross fading, and it's search function is very nice. It does cost several hundred dollars, though. Winamp does have the ability to cross fade with a plugin. I don't know where you get it, but I suspect that it's on the Winamp web site. Winamp does have the plus that it's free if you don't want the extra features of the pro version. As far as how you organize your files, that's personal preference. I have mine in one folder, and use Ots DJ to search for my music. Hope this is helpful.
