The only Griffin product I've ever owned/used is the IMic. It involves no
software, at all. It's just a plug-and-play, USB, hardware device. I've
never had any problems with it. and, aside from this one limitation -- that
it seems not to support "record what you hear", it's an excellent product.
For its price (under $40), it's the best external, USB audio device I know
of. I've written to Griffin to see if they make another, comparable product
that does support "record what you hear," and I'll just have to see what
they say.
