RQJ, Yes, I know the "what you hear" name for the option is specific to SoundBlaster, and that other card/devices call it by other names. But there doesn't seem to be any equivalent option, by any name, for the IMic. I was able to record whatever went through my inboard sound card, using its stereo mix option. So, I'm pretty sure I understand how to accomplish what I want to do, in general. The option just doesn't seem to be supported by the IMic. I've written to Griffin Technologies, asking if they make/sell another device, of comparable quality, that does support such an option. I'll just have to see what sort of response I get. Thanks.
