Hi Tracy,

Mine cost just over $400, and you'll spend another $50 - $100 on a Compact 
Flash memory card of 1 GB or more to insert into the unit once it is 
received.  Now that the R-09 is coming out, I would imagine prices for the 
R-1 will start coming down soon.
