I think so, but I haven't tested this thoroughly. When one records, one should make sure, that the MP3 or Wave files don't get too big. No more than two hours per file for instance. I use my Plextalks mainly as flash card recorders. They're really the best, when one wants to create a review because of their phantastic overwrite function. But I've also created DAISY versions of cassette books on CD and it worked great.
