Hi Jonathan, You can not edit your files on the unit itself, right? and another somewhat silly question maybe, how do you know when a flash card is full? I take it you monitor your recordings with head phones, and in that case it's no probs, since i take it the sound suddenly disappears, but does the unit give any audible feedback such as a beep or such when for example the flash card is full or the battery has run out? And as i understood from the review, you can't really punch in/out of a recording with the R1, or am i wrong there? Otherwise it seems easy to use for blind folks, so maybe i'll go for that in the end. /Krister
