In fact, I wish the Edirol case were a bit better padded, almost like the old Braille 'n' Speak cases. The problem is, any case you put the thing into will impede its ability to record well. Those built-in microphones like wide open space around them. Any cushioned case you put it into will deaden whatever sound comes near.
