I do not use Sound Forge, only Audition 1.5. The main difference I know of is that Audition has the multitrack feature which allows one to build a recording up by tracks. I think I'm right that Sound Forge has only stereo track editing.

Also if you need the Audition accessible jaws scripts please mention this.
