Crystal, Chris had a good point about checking and seeing if the disk is the right side up. The side that should be up when you put it in the tray is the smooth side. The side that is down has a raised line about 3/8 of a inch in from the hole. Hope this helps. Sounds like ya have some faulty discs there. sounds like a really really silly suggestion but have you tried flipping the disc over and trying it the other way? sometimes cdr media gets put in the cases up side down, and sometimes you get a few discs that can't be recorded on in the spindle of blank cds.
