Crystal, This might sound silly, but someone suggested it to me. Try another disk, or make sure that the disk you're using is clean, with no dust or anything like that on it. I was having problems with the CD skipping after being recorded. So, I wiped it with a soft cloth and it helped. Maybe it could be something like that...not sure. I also have Nero 5.5 on my computer and it works well. I still have a lot to learn about it, but I can burn a CD.
