I don't know about anyone else, but if everything else is equal, if product
A was $19.95 and product B was $20.00, I would buy product A. And I
challenge anyone else to say different and mean it... remember, everything
else about the two products is equal.

So yes, $19.95 is a better price than $20.00. Not that it applies to
Internet sales, but usually an additional penny of sales tax kicks in at the
whole dollar level as well and a penny saved is a penny earned... (not to
mention one less penny to give to the government).

And if a consumer saves a penny each day by this pricing scheme (yes, I
called it a scheme, I have no delusions there) and invests that penny every
day in an account that earns 5% interest.. the power of compound interest
tells us..... oh.. sorry.. flashback to Father Lecture #1.. "The Power of
Compound Interest"

Bottom line, if you think me charging $7.95 for my software is unscrupulous,
feel free to pay $8 if that makes you feel better.
