Hello Michal

My redhat is entreprise linux

For OpenV Switch, please advise me which release is better/easier to use.

Previously , I have used the last release and built by myself. Certainly a bad
idée.
May be some releases are certified by redhat ?

I 'm in holiday for 2 weeks

Regards

You mean Red Hat Enterprise Linux? It depends - I wasn't following the
conversation that closely (why did you decide to build ovs yourself rather than
installing from Ubuntu repositories?).

I mean, if you install from your distro repositories then it should also
install rules needed for your security driver (e.g. SELinux on RHEL, AppArmor
on Ubuntu). If you install a binary that you built yourself, it is very likely
that this will not happen (or some paths won't match) - and therefore is
usually viewed as an option for more advanced users.

Michal
