which suggests to post patches here, where they seem to be laying around until 
forgotten. i really appreciate that the project is driven by people in their 
spare time, but wasting contributed efforts seems counter productive. would the 
devs please talk about it? i could even live with a statement that says, there 
is no man willing to.

i'd change my patch delivery then by posting them to the more public wiki and 
posting a note here only. this way people hit by the same bug can find the 
patch online with their favorite search engine no matter if an openwrt dev had 
the time to check and push it to trunk or not.

eventually, i really appreciate the project and am highly impressed by it's 
quality and stability. but that is not reflected in this mailing list, 
unfortunately.
