Well, I tried with all packages selected properly but the result wasn't very
encouraging.

First this log message:

IFX_MPS: CPU1 base address is invalid!
IFX_MPS: firmware download error (-1)!

(probably because cp1_base assignment is commented out in
arch/mips/lantiq/setup.c?)

Then this when trying tapidemo:

root@OpenWrt:/# tapidemo
TAPI Demo Version 5.0.1.27
VAD is set to: IFX_TAPI_ENC_VAD_NOVAD - no voice activity detection.
Err with ioctl cmd SIOCGIFADDR Cannot assign requested address. (File:
./tapidemo.c, line: 3657)
Compiled for EASY50712.
Used board(s) EASY50712.
Error, firmware file voice_danube_firmware.bin is not found.
(File: ./device_vmmc.c, line: 196)
Error, required binaries files are not downloaded.
(File: ./device_vmmc.c, line: 688)
Err, Channel 0 is not initialized. (File: ./board_easy50712.c, line: 563)
Err, Board Initialization failed (Idx 0). (File: ./tapidemo.c, line: 4331)

Bye
