I also have a Netgear WNR2000 which the factory firmware is based on a
fork of an earlier OpenWRT.   I have examined the board on this router
and it has a AR9103 chip on it.  I see Andy Boyett has put up some
files on the OpenWRT website.

Note that the firmware flash process for this router differs from the
other ones, haven't figured out how to flash - but can boot latest
development OpenWRT using tftpboot ramdisk image without problem.

I note the wireless drivers are kernel modules loaded with insmod
after boot, I assume this it to get around the need to release the
source code for these drivers ;)

I have also found that the AR9102 chip is used in several USB WiFi
adapters... For example, a Linux driver is available here for
download:
