...but what about that second client? How would Windows react if the DHCP server on X.Y.Z.254 tells it to use X.Y.Z.254 as it's own IP address? The big question is why is the TAP driver hard-wired to pretend X.Y.Z.254 is the DHCP server IP? Why can't it pretend to be the IP address of the openvpn server?
