I think the "Linux community" line was the reporter's
ignorance in trying to summarize; at least, I hope it wasn't
the Oracle rep's ignorance.

As I've interpreted it, previous info suggests that source will still
be available, but only _after_ release of commercial product.
Which stinks, but that's pretty much what Apple does too, which
also stinks, but is better than nothing; try getting even that much
from Microsoft unless you're a government or a very large customer.

My concern would be more that Oracle may well continue to change
the rules whenever they think there's more money to be squeezed.
I of course think that's short-sighted, and trades money today for
shrinking market share tomorrow.
