You may need to install WinUSB to the JTAG interface (interface 0 or both interface 0/1). When I tested under Windows 7 x64 (using the MinGW 64bit binary), it does not crash. OT: I run 32-bit WindowsXP on a Athlon X2 (the same hardware was also used in the Fedora 12 test) Maybe you want to try out the development version binary Freddie has. http://www.freddiechopin.info/index.php/en/download/category/10-openocd-dev You may want to try the first one. OT: This package still seems to use the older versions of libusb and libftdi. I will test it later on but is there really an indentified bug fix in openocd that handles problems with FT2232H? Or you may have to rebuild the binary by yourself. OT: I can try this if I get some help with a correct build script and a description of a proper build environment. If I sit and fiddle with the settings myself it will take a lot of time and I will probably introduce a new range of strange deviances. Right now I feel that that will probably not work in the end anyway. For your reference: libftdi-1.0 solved the same problem (seems to be under Linux). https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/openocd-development/2010-June/015813.html OT: Since the problem also exist in my Fedora 12 environment I could try this too provided I get help with a correct build script so that the right libs get linked in. -- Xiaofan _______________________________________________ Openocd-development mailing list Openocd-development@lists.berlios.de https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/openocd-development
