Soon you will be able to use libftdi 1.0 which is based on libusb 1.0.

It is working with the WinUSB backend of libusb 1.0 under Windows.
WinUSB works under x64 without the need of code signing certificate.

There will be an automatic driver installed for libusb.

OpenOCD and urJtag are the two packages some
developers are testing with.
