Some of these dependencies I had to install for compilation, maybe because the 
switches passed to configure explicitly said we want this functionality. It 
seems libfaad and libx264 were not installed, but I installed them now. They 
are all from yum; see info below. Is it motivated to recompile ffmpeg and try 
again?
