This bug may be related to bug #316968.
Apparently it is due to some inconsistencies in packages that install" lpr"
command like "lpr" package and "cups-bsd" package and possibly lpr packages
that are part of a particular printer setting (none in my case with my brother
j-315w only lpd). To solve the problem I removed "lpr" package and all normal
printing of pdf files resumed.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. both "lpr" and "cups-bsd" packages present
2. unsuccessful try to print pdf file : in konsole an error message related to
"lpr command"

Actual Results:
see above
Expected Results:
no pdf print
Print pdf file.
Fix : if "lpr" package is removed normal printing resumes.
