I can confirm this problem with KDE 4.7.4 and Debian packages.
Actually, it's even more weird: When I click "Properties" next to the printer
selection, it says that "landscape" mode is enabled. However, to properly print
a landscape page, I have to change this to portrait (!). Then printing works
fine, without rotating the actual pdf file.
