Bug ID: 296134 Severity: normal Version: unspecified Priority: NOR Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org Summary: pages are not rotated automatically at printout Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux Reporter: martin.tlus...@gmail.com Hardware: Ubuntu Packages Status: UNCONFIRMED Component: general Product: okular User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/535.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu/11.10 Chromium/17.0.963.79 Chrome/17.0.963.79 Safari/535.11 Build Identifier: I created a mindmap in freemind and exported it. It is wider than high, so would print best in landscape format. Okular opens the page well, but does print it in portrait, so the printout is much smaller than necessary. I can set rotation manually in the printer settings, but it is cumbersome and error prone. Much nicer would be a feature that automatically rotates pages to fit the paper size (like in adobe reader). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a pdf file that is landscape 2.print it 3. Actual Results: If the printer settings are set wrong (sometimes "landscape," sometimes "portrait," which makes it confusing and error prone), the printout gets either resized or croped to fit on a portrait page. Expected Results: The pdf should be rotated to fit to the page in an optimal way (at least as selectable option). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
