Spent the morning birding around parts of Brooklyn, specifically Calvert Vaux, Coney Island Creek Park, Coney Island Pier and Floyd Bennett.
Highlights were few but included a getting late first summer COMMON TERN at CICP, 682 Black Skimmers at CI pier of which at least a third were juveniles, and 11 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS and 2 AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER juveniles at Floyd Bennett. The AMGO were with ~ 65 BBPL on the runway that runs north to south from the model airplane flying area.
