I received this information from an Ontario birder -
White Ibis- juvenile Whitby Harbour Saturday, October 3 (11 to noon) http://www.pixel-shooter.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23110
Whitby Harbor is on Lake Ontario near Toronto, about 35 miles north from the Tonawanda WMA, across the plains and lake. As far as I know, last sighting of ibis at Tonawanda was Tues, Sep 29, and I believe there were two negative reports Sep 30 and Oct 2.
Would anyone who has seen and hopefully photographed the White Ibis at Tonawanda last week care to check these photos and try to determine if this is the same individual? I also have photo files that I could forward, should this photo link not work.
