October 2 - Today at the Batavia Waste Water Treatment Plant there  were:
A lone White-rumped Sandpiper
240 Mallard
94 Northern Shoveler
32 American Wigeon
9 Am. Coot
6 Am. Black Duck
10 Gadwall
4 Blue-winged Teal
95 Tree Swallows
Pied-billed Grebe
59 Ruddy Duck
83! Common Merganser
Bufflehead
Ring-necked Duck
3 Eared Grebe
Lesser Scaup
 Greater Scaup
15 Northern Pintail
but only one Great Egret  It did not have a leg band...
 
Oak Orchard WMA
19 Northern Pintail
Eastern Bluebird
Rusty Blackbirds
adult Bald Eagle
Common Moorhen
 
Tonawanda WMA
65 American Coot
4  Great Egrets
at the NE corner of the intersection of Rt. 77 and Griswold shorebirds were 
 going and coming most of the afternoon 
3 Long-billed Dowitchers
2 Stilt Sandpipers
1 Pectoral Sandpiper\4 Least Sandpipers
1 Semipalmated Plover
Wilson Snipe
4 Greater Yellowlegs
2 Lesser Yellowlegs and a lot of RAIN!
