> The UDP listener only terminates on a complete network breakdown. I my case the software is running on an edge device only connected via WLAN. The problem only happens when the device is kicked out of the WLAN due to poor reception quality. This really comes down to semantics on what you define as illegal. In my view a network breaking down isn't "illegal", in fact it can happen at any time legitimately and so can be considered to be part of normal program operation. Personally I don't feel strongly about this, just wanted to get feedback from others > Regarding the test: I can try to add a test. But to trigger this condition the UDP listener has to be killed. During the development I added code within the stage to kill the listener. For a standard test I have to figure out how/if I potentially can kill the listener from outside of the stage. If it sounds like too much work I would timebox it, however its always ideal to have tests for cases like this. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
