No, I meant that having to drag the link into an editor just to view 
it is inconvenient. Shift-Select is OK.

Yes, but you need to remember these things or have an easy way to find 
out. I can't remember everything that's in the documentation and don't 
really want to have to delve into it whilst browsing unless I want to 
do something really out of the ordinary.

I've never found this a problem. I normally want to save images in the 
original format anyway.
