Don't worry so much about main.cf. It is good for the doco and examining
things (and of course setting them), but postfix has default values that
will obtain if they are not overridden in main.cf.

The command "postconf" will recite _all_ the postfix settings as they
are after parsing the main.cf. Very useful.

Mine says "_postdrop". It is the stock MacOSX postfix.

Can you post the output of your "postconf" command? We can diff it
against our own running postfixen.
