well, i get around 100-300 messages a day from various mailing lists and it has not bothered me, resources wise, a bit on a single user, me, stand alone machine. > - reportedly isn't completely safe (can lose your mail) ... use proper locking w/ maildir folders & well tested recipes. personally, i use mbox folders w/ locking and saving every mail as caught by a recipe that i may be working on. - parv --
