you might just use putty instead... putty looks pretty nice with mutt.

i experimented a little and 'xterm-color' seemed to work ok for me - it
probably depends on what the terminfo / termcap stuff is set like on
your linux machine.  you could try scping over the terminfo file for
cygwin.... perhaps someone who knows more about this stuff could suggest
a better solution?
