hmm. 'F' flags a message. %?a? -u %a? substitutes the address, but only
if known, else this space is blank and %f takes the workload: it specifies
the from: part. no passphrase. this is gpg's part (i beleive mutt
intercepts it for storage). the message is piped into gpg's stdin.
