I made a commit to master adding this yesterday. I did some testing on Gmail, but haven't gotten around to testing Microsoft platforms yet. I could definitely use some help there.
To enable, "xoauth2" must be explicitly added to the authenticators variable, (e.g. $imap_authenticators). Just as with OAUTHBEARER, you'll also need to point the refresh command ($imap_oauth_refresh_command) at a script to generate the resource access token. It uses the same config variables. If needed those can be swapped out via account-hooks.
