#3914: mutt stores duplicate certificates into $certificate-file on hostname mismatch and interactive_check_cert = "allow always" ---------------------+---------------------- Reporter: m-a | Owner: mutt-dev Type: defect | Status: new Priority: minor | Milestone: 1.8 Component: crypto | Version: 1.7.2 Resolution: | Keywords: ---------------------+----------------------
Comment (by m-a): {{{ I'd rather wish that "(a)lways accept" would continue to be permitted but skip storing the certificate, and perhaps print a message that the certificate had already been. There is one thing though that came as a new thought: if the certificate is the same except for the validity timespan, we may still need to add it (but I presume this is already handled by our skipping expired certificates during read, so we wouldn't know that we've already had the certificate). }}} -- Ticket URL: <https://dev.mutt.org/trac/ticket/3914#comment:4> Mutt <http://www.mutt.org/> The Mutt mail user agent
