I have both of these on my list to review. I remember the original vvv.quote patch had a fixed buffer size (see ticket #3718). I'll have to take a look at the revised patch in Gentoo again. I don't think I quite understood the quoting issue or patch though, so I may come back and have some questions when I get to reviewing it. > Maybe we could have a survey, or at least try to figure out which > patches are most widely included in vendor packages? I plan on looking at Debian and Gentoo for now. But as I previously mentioned, I'm not looking to take on anything too crazy at this point. I'll mostly be looking for bug fixes or "small goodies" right now.
