Ron, It was, indeed, a brilliant day. Best Rally I can remember. Perfect weather, two perfect locations, splendid runs in all directions and it all ran smoother than the London Olympics. It got heavily overcast coming home via the Lecht, but it was a somewhat brighter closer to home
Congratulations to the organisers and all involved. That proud square radiator of the P types and the later T`s were the bee knees for me. Never thought much about Morgans. And then in later years I was smitten by Alfas,a 2000 Spider, several GTV`s but they were so expensive, always something major when they went belly up. Then 10 years ago a 4/4 in Yorkshire caught my eye and I eventually bought it and 50000 miles later we are still together. Just had a brilliant weekend with our local Historic Wheels Club here in Morayshire culminating with our best Rally ever at Brodie Castle with over 300 entries. In the heat today quite exotic makes were falling over with fuel vaporisation problems but my little 4/4 never missed a beat and had admiring comments all day. Even Owen was there ! At 77 I may be a boring old fart but this car keeps me young. Cheers all Ron. ------------------------------------------- View posts on The Mail Archive http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ [http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/] Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=22459785&id_secret=22459785-4a39ddf8 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
