Hi Pieter, > I’m not sure whether I follow the implications of the change completely
Each module in a distribution can have one person who has the "first-come indexing permission". This means that not only can you release that module, but you can give other people co-maint on that module. People with co-maint can do releases of the module, but can’t edit who has indexing permissions on the module. In general, where a distribution has multiple modules in it, one person has the first-come indexing on all of those modules. But in the past, if someone with co-maint did a release that added one or more new modules, then they would get first-come on those new modules, rather than the person who has first-come on all of the existing modules. PAUSE now does the right thing, so I’m tidying up the historical cases. > but since I no longer work with Mustache or Perl, it sounds completely > reasonable to relinquish those permissions to Yannick. Thank you. I’ve transferred the first-come permissions to Yanick, and you now have co-maint on all modules in the distribution, as does Rik. Cheers, Neil
