There are few niggly things like this lurking in the shadows of CPAN :-)

PAUSE won’t let this sort of conflict happen in the future. If you tried to do
it now, you’d first have to drop all permissions on the existing namespace,
before you could get the new package name indexed.

But while we have any conflicts remaining in PAUSE, PAUSE and various places in
the toolchain (and MetaCPAN, and more) will need code to decide how to resolve
it. Right now some places do it differently. If we can get rid of the remaining
conflicts, then we don’t need to worry about it.

Right now these package names are owned by the same people. But if THOGEE
handed on first-come on the currently used package name, without resolving the
other one, then the conflict would cause problems when releasing.

Good.

If Thomas is ok with it too, then I’ll go ahead, and will then be able to knock
one more of these conflicts off my list.

Cheers,
Neil
