It can not be the lastest CVS version because 'yuvdenoise' (cvs) has NOT accepted the '-s' or '-g' options for some time now. The current version of 'yuvdenoise' has '-m', '-M' and '-t' options only. > y4mshift -n -4 -N 4 | y4mscaler -v0 -O sar=59:54 -O size=720x576 > | yuvdeinterlace | yuvmedianfilter -r 3 -R 3 -t 3 -T 3 Hmmm, deinterlacing? Might not be a good thing - if you're going to DVD. > | yuvdenoise -s 4,5,5 -g 64,255,255 -t 3,3,3 | y4munsharp | yuvdenoise -h shows the options that are available. > mpeg2enc -f 8 -D 10 -E -10 -q 5 -b 7800 -V 500 -K tmpgenc -4 1 -2 1 -o > output.m2v "-V 500" is NOT needed. The default (set by '-f 8') is perfect for DVD. A value of 500 is higher than is used even by HD MPEG-2 streams! > But i find out that when i use it with yuvdeinterlace that i just get a > complete "green" video. Probably just as well since deinterlacing should be avoided in most cases ;) > If i don??t use yuvdeinterlace it works fine. I'm on vacation at the moment and a lengthy discussion is not possible (about to wander out and do some sight seeing) but my suggestion is omit the deinterlace step Steven Schultz
