Just had a good read, and it's miles ahead of what I remember it being.

It certainly contains most of the points I was thinking of, including quite a 
bit of the command-line switches info.

Guess I should read the latest version before I bitch about it (-;

Again, I wish I read german so I could help with translation.

But I'll cast a more critical eye over it and maybe offer some suggestions. I 
think this doc should be comprehensive enough to allow someone to create most 
any video content and only reference the various man pages for the more 
extreme cases.

But great work! this is quite useful for most users, I think.
