I've found a strange combination that works. Using kernel 2.6.6 If I use the latest zoran driver from cvs and load the driver with the update script I can find no method to control the brightness
If I use the drivers that come with the kernel I can control the brightness with xawtv but only while xawtv is running When I close xawtv the brightness returns to the previous setting While xawtv is running I can alter the brightness with v4lctl but if I close xawtv v4lctl has no effect I also tried this with kernel 2.4.26 and get the same results I'm using lavrec to record while running xawtv I can't use xawtv to record I get "no way to get: 384x288 24 bit TrueColor (BE: rgb)" Is this normal?
