That must be an older driver then. The latest CVS in the
ZORAN_VIDEODEV_2 branch and in kernel are *exactly* the same.

Yes, that's hardware trickery. Google for 'bigphysarea patch' if you
want to use xawtv/streamer to record (it cannot be fixed easily),
although I'd recommend just sticking to lavrec (because that uses
hardware compression).
