I just downloaded 1.6.1-90 and compiled it on my RH9.0 Intel 2GHZ box. I did NOT install the jpeg-mmx or libmovtar stuff. When I try to use mpeg2enc it fails.
Using the 1.6.1 mpeg2enc which I got from freshrpms.net works fine. Am I required to use the jpeg-mmx and/or libmovtar packages to get mpeg2enc to even work? BTW, when is 1.6.2 going to be released? Any more changes planned between 1.6.1-90 and 1.6.2?
