It tries to grab YUV-4:2:0 images, which the hardware doesn't support. lavrec will give exactly the same error when you try to do software JPEG capture. You need hardware JPEG capture instead (use lavrec. ;) ). Anyway, according to v4l, this is the correct driver behaviour, so this is (in theory) a bug in xawtv. > PS:When do you plan release 0.9.5 ? Good question... I think I've got most bugs now, but I still hope I can improve the DC30+ (zr36050/zr36016) data transfer rate before releasing 0.9.5. If that fails, I'll just release 0.9.5 with the small bug (or well: it's not a bug, it's simply something that annoys me ;) ) in the DC30+ capture. And speaking of 0.9.5, I need to do a new RC for mjpegtools-1.6.2, too... Any obvious outstanding bugs?
