I have given up ... I think there is no change left that I will ever get my MSI K7N2G-L motherboard to properly work with my DC10+ ..
And I used to capture wonderful broadcast-quality videos with this card using my old ABIT BP6 (Dual Celeron) motherboard. But since I changed my motherboard, I have diagonal lines that move slowly across the captured video, this happens both with xawtv and lavrec. Example : http://biodef.org/Lines.png What I have tried so far: Change the power supply. Remove every other card from the motherboard, just using the built in graphics- and soundcard. Unplug all cables from the DC10+ card, this still leaves lines in the resulting blank video. Switch off and unplug the Screen both from the power outlet and computer. Switch off and unplug my cordless mouse, both from electricity and the computer. Unplug the CPU fan (Zoran) and speed regulator from the motherboard. Record in console mode. I.e. no X11 or graphics. (I'm using Linux, Mandrake 9.1) I have also tried both with or without nVidia's graphics and AGP drivers. The lines are present on all inputs of the DC10+ card, even when there is nothing connected to them. Therefore I suspect the source of the interference is internal. Nothing seems to work .. The lines are always there ... I have given up and I am getting a new motherboard. Any recommendations ? I have a Athlon 2400+ and the New Motherboard has to have a good Linux support. - Rikhardur ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Mjpeg-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mjpeg-users
