        Are you running the cvs version or the 1.6.2 release candidate?

        If so then use "-S 0" to override any limit that mplex might be
        placing on the output filesize.

        I'm real tempted to change the default size limit in mplex to be 0
        (infinite) - 2GB in the era of creating DVDs is just too small.

        If you're using 1.6.1 or earlier it's a bug (one of several that
        have caused users problems over time).
